Tazı Canyon is a canyon valley located in Gaziler village of Beşkonak Neighborhood of Manavgat district of Antalya province . Tazı Canyon, located within the borders of Köprülü Canyon National Park, was formed by the Köprüçay Stream eroding the conglomerate bedrock. It is estimated that the formation of the canyon dates back to the ice age . It was formed by the separation of ice masses, melting and releasing themselves into the valleys by creating erosion with great energy, carving the insides of limestone rocks in non-calcareous regions. The length of the canyon is 4 km, its width is 30–50 m, and its rim height is 300–400 meters.
Although Tazı Canyon has been known by the locals living in the region for a long time, it was discovered by the Patika Nature Hiking group in 2016 and has become one of the most popular travel routes in recent years. The Mediterranean climate vegetation is dominated by maquis . Pure Cypress, , Red Pine, Juniper maquis species are found. Mammal species living in the valley are; , marten, rabbit, fox and wild goat. Black vulture, black-eared wheatear, pigeon, golden eagle, rock swallow, rock sparrow, griffon vulture, stone red, blue thrush, red bunting and snake eagle are the bird species seen in the region.Â
